Is this kit worth buying? How does it look out of the box?

It is really not on par with modern kit standard.

It looks like a AMX13 but is lacking sharpness detail wise (does it make sense ?). You too should consider getting some Traxpak (Accurate Armour) replacement resin tracks as the kit vinyl ones are really poor.

If you feel confident with extra detailing you can get one and look through the various walkarounds available on the web to upgrade it.

If you want to do an AMX-13, it's your only choice.

Thanks guys, it isn't a vehicle that I particularly wanted to build but I've never seen the kit for sale before and wondered if it was better than the box art made it look. I'll probably pass unless I can get the price down to $5 or so. (THEN it would be worthwhile - what kit isn't worth $5?)
