Really great job on your sherman ...love the dusty look you've achieved ...excellent ! As for the ration boxes ...The bigger ones might look better in a truck than on the back of a sherman ..They might just look a bit big on the back end ..

It looks about right for a "ten in one",.

Hey Dachian,
Sorry, must have missed it when you first posted last week.
Looks good, a bit more dark wash around the rivets and bolts might make things pop out more.
Cheers

Can't address the size of the box, but I must say your Sherman looks great!

Nice Sherman mate.

Looks great, good work on the weathering.

Use one of the smaller ration box, you dont want to overdo the rear. However in saying that, i have a lot of photos with the rear absolutly loaded to the max with cases, rations and rags.

Cheers

Nice job. I would add one or two of the boxes without regards if they are "ration" boxes are not. Frankly, ration boxes are pretty recognizable and none of your others match -- so just go with the flow. On the other hand, I question your use of the rope tying down the gear. You're to be congratulated for tying things down but if you look at the thickness of that rope, you'll see how unusable it would be in actuality. The thickness of the "rope" barely allows it to slip into the jerry can handles. If I were you, I'd replace with some nylon string of thinner guage... that'd be my advice.

Nifty Sherman. Not meaning to nit-pick, but I can't see anything holding the 5-gal can to the left rear mud guard. Is it me and my teenie monitor?
I'd probably also make up a tarp to cover up some of the stowage, might give it a unified look, maybe cover most of the large rolled-up thing since it looks "hard".
Make sense?
