Finally got around to taking some images of this build, built late last year.
Jan Etal's build log is the best to see how he corrected some of the kit omissions, which I decided not to rectify.
So here are the pics.
Kit was painted with Vallejo paints followed by fading and washes using oils. Pastels completed the weathering.

Nice looking dio!
I like the smooth weathering of the vehicle and the landscape.
I also built a dio with some grass-patches... but now they are covered with snow.

This was the first base I used Silfor Karst grass tufts on. They are an excellent way of adding some height to groundwork.

Been kind of busy and missed this one. Excellent job, Michael. I know what it's like to try to get life from a mono colour vehicle let alone working around this kits inherent gremlins.
