Hi,
I'm new here but have read many fantastic things on this site. You guys really know how to give life to the smallest things.
Now, my question:
I've found a link somewhere on the site, but forgot to copy it.
The link showed how to make ivy leaves using FIMO liquid Oven-hardening deco gel and an PE sheet of ivy leaves, the end result was much beter then the PE stuff + You can keep creating the leaves instead of buying them all the time.
The technique wasn't that difficult but i would like to get the info again, so I can put it away in my techniques book.
Does somebody knows what I'm talking about?
Looking it up didn't helped, I've been searching for 4hours now.
Regards,
Davy

I recently bought the materials for this, does one require a heatgun? or can a hair dryer be used?

well on the link its said he used a heatgun (cause the fimo needs to be baked i think).
But perhaps you can try it once with a hairdryer and let us know the result

Yes Biggles, I tried rubber latex and it didn't work for me. I watered it down alittle bit to apply it to the leaves, and it dried too line and fell apart when I tried to remove it from the brass.

Hey guys
I recieved my Fimo liquid in the mail today from the UK.
I got my photoetch leaves on Monday, Set II, and Set III, both from Lionroar.
According to the Fimo instructions, you need to bake the Fimo, in an oven @ 130 degrees (celsuis).
Question is, can i put the photoetch in the oven?
Another option is a heatgun....or... i do have an open fireplace......
Any ideas?
Damian
