Hey, gang
Here's a quick update on my latest and largest project to date: Aussie SAS salutes Platoon. I was recently promoted and, as a result, I've been working more hours than I'd ever imagined, which has drastically cut into my free time. This may be a long, drawn-out project because I'm still waiting for four more figures to arrive in the mail, which will put the grand total at 18!
Feel free to apply criticism, accolades or suggestions on my progress before it's too late. I snapped the photos with the flash on, so they appear much more glossy than when viewed in natural light.
Thanks,
Randy

Quite a project there Randy!
I must admit I don't see much from the pictures. Try to take a photo of an individual figure and show us some details... that way we can be more precise in our comments regarding your painting.

Looks great! You should put them on a diorama base to show them off!

Hi Randy,
I'll be watching this one closely because I've got all these figures too & I'm interested in the colours you'll be using.
Keep me posted, mate.
And good luck.

I do agree with Frank that this particular set of figures from Bravo6 is a little static but they are better than any other Vietnam figures out there & Vladimirs new USMC figures are second to none! Full action poses here!
Frank, do you think that Platoon is a realistic film? I think it's a great film, too, but when it came out back in 1987 I heard a lot of vets complained about it. Is that true?
