I'm no expert, but I was imagine that maybe adding some gloss to them might aid in them looking wet. Maybe use some gloss to add footprints/handprints of where they climbed onto the dock?

Those are some cool dioramas. I always love seeing Irish military stuff. Rangers kick ass!!
