I love the Stug ! And I still haven't built a single one !
But I'm going to use that incredible Achtung panzer book I got myself to build the Stug III F8.

I'm a big fan of the Sturmgeschutz III, but I can't say that I'd ever just build Stugs. Out of all the Stug III's, I like the Ausf G the best. I also like the StuH 42 with the 10.5cm gun. Stug IV's are interesting as well, but I think I would build several Stug III Ausg G's before a Stug IV.

Howdy all,
I'm new here and new to modeling. I'm currently working on my first kit which happens to be the Dragon StuG III. I'm psyched to be working on it and am having a lot of fun so far. I had to take a deep breath when I opened the box and saw the treads in "6,000" individual pieces, but I'm up for the challenge. This site is an amazing resource and the knowledge I've already gained lurking around has boosted my confidence level with this first kit.
Anyway, just wanted to give a shoutout for the StuG!

I have built every DML/Tamiya Stug that has been made recently.
My collection goes from Ausf.A-G Late.
I made the Tamiya Stug G into a Sturm haubitze.
I scratched radio paniers to turn a DML ausf C/D into an E. (++)

Same here, love them Stugs. But sadly I had only done the Stug Ausf A so far. I sure soon be cracking on the Stug IV early from DML soon I hope.

Yup! Add me to the list. In fact, anything on the Pz111 chassis is a favorite.
Currently working on two Pz111's, aStuG111, AusF. A, and building an old Tamiya M/N into an N with the addition of left over parts from the DML Pz111, AusF. E kit. Also have stripped the paint from 25 year old Tamiya StuG.111 and StuH.111 to rework them someday.
