thanks for the review! enjoyed reading.
oh, sounds like a hectic sprue switching to me. if there's one thing that almost made my smash their pz IV 75mm kit with the sprue switching. makes you want to cut your fingers with a no.11 blade...

The sprues are a mixture of earlier parts, parts borrowed from other kits (most notably the suspension, and weapons from infantry sets), and new parts.

In the photos, does that show parts from the Premium release? or the "old" kit as it states? I cant remember what suspension parts were used in the Premium kit.

Great review. Thanks so much for the photos, Sean.

Tim,
I just recently finished a build of the Premium kit and the suspension parts in that kit are the "Smart Kit" Pz IV suspension parts we've come to know and love (I mean that sincerely!). This Smart Kit has the same suspension parts as the Premium edition judging by the "new" pics. The "old" pics that Sean posted are from the really old kit #6001 Nashorn.

That's right. Sorry, I didn't have a Premium kit to compare with - I mean, how many Nashorns can one person need? - so I threw in the really old dog just for a laugh. The bigger laugh is that I paid for it!
