Who makes decent 1/24-1/35 civilian figures that don't look "melted?"

I know Pressier has a whole line. I also thought that another company makes them cheaper than Pressier.

I'm looking for quantity and quality, meaning more than one figure for $17 per se.

Thanks.

I have a set of 1/24 scale truckers from Revell.. The chubby one reminds me of a driver we had in Afghanistan, and is slowly being appropriately garbed. He even has a beard. There's another baseball cap wearing dude (gee, guess what he gets used for?) who with appropriate weapon, looks pretty good. They'll be situated around the Aoshima Hilux gun trucks. The female figure you can toss.
Itelari did a few trucker figures as well, but I can't comment on their quality.

HO scale is 1/87
O scale is 1/43 ( I think in the UK ) , 1/45 ( in Europe ?) { both sort of toy-like , think MARX TRAINS } and 1/48 in North America . Sorry never did get involved with N scale.
