Hi Guys,
I recently bought one of the NEW Trumpeter LAV-A2 kits and am thinking about starting it and have some questions . The kit painting options are overall green and overall sand . I would like to paint it in NATO Tri-Color camo (if possible) , but am having a hard time finding some good pics to go by . I will also probably build it OOB , but would like it to have a accurate markings and paint job .
I also have the OOP Echelon Fine Details decal sheet T35011 for USMC LAVs (Operation Iraqi Freedom) & ASLAVs (Operation Catalyst 2003 ) , but am not sure if they are applicable to the A2 variant or for a earlier one ? Thanks for any help in this matter .
best regards
JOEY

Hey Joey,
since the USMC recently began to paint their vehicles in nato camo again a theetonal camo would be correct. for the exact pattern look here: http://www.panzerbaer.de/colours/us_carc_lav-25.htm
Regarding the decals my best guess would be to just use the generic stencils (all of the "no step", "USMC 52XXXXX", "tie down" markings etc.).
However you propably can't use those wolf head and knight stencils neither the tac marks...
Cheers Max
