The Irish Defence Forces have finally got a modern armour protected Light Tactical Vehicle which is going to be a lot safer than the existing Nissan Patrols they currently use. After a long procurrment process the first 2 vehicls have arrived with 25 more due before the end of the year:

Probably a bit too late as our troops time in Kosovo and Chad are both coming to an end
Now I know there is no kit of these available, but does anyone know of any plastic or resin kit that would be good as a base for a scratch conversion?

What about the anticipated new Landrover from Hobbyboss. Could this be used as a bases for a scratch build. The weapons systems as on the first vehicle are available from Trumpeter/AFV.
