Hi fellas,
I would really like to build myself a diorama depicting the battle of Hue during Tet '68 & I'm looking for some good reference material on the type of buildings there were.
Can anybody point me in the right direction, please, to any good books or websites on the subject?
Thanks, in advance.
Joe.

Hi Frenchy,
How are you? I haven't heard from you in a while.
As usual, you provide some of the very best material on this forum!
Thankyou, my friend. The link is a great help.
All the very best to you.

Joe,
I've been working my Hue Dio for nearly 10yrs now off and on, had the same questions as you. So, what I found was the History Channel videos and American Legion DVD's on the Tet Offensive had the answers. Might be hard to find them, but there are tons of sites where the vets may be able to answer your question if you ask them. I started by googling Hue City, Tet Offensive and found tons of stuff.
"Phase LineGreen", (Hue City), Nick Warr, "House to House", author? Saigon city fighting during Tet, etc. are books I used as well. Pop a Smoke website has pics, etc.
Do soome digging and there will be tons of stuff for you, sorry no links.
Cheers, Ski.

Hi Joe!
There is exellent Eric Hammel`s book "Marines in Hue City" with many of nice Hue photos.
Also for nice inspiration, you can find some good footages on YouTube.Use key words Tet, Tet-68,Hue etc.
I can say that find some nice ideas for my figures on YouTube

Hi Ski,
Thanks for the pointers, my friend. I have "Phase Line Green" but I'll check out "House to House".
I'll try the google tip & let you know how I get on. I'll also give it a go on the History channel video route.
Thanks mate.

Vladi! How are you my friend?
I have that book "Marines in Hue City" & I have to agree that it is a great book. I didn't realise you had it too. There were a couple of pictures in that book that I wanted to talk to you about. I'll send you an email later.
I'll have a look on youtube & let you know how I get on. Thanks for the pointers.
Its great to hear from you.
