hi there guys ive recently purchased some resin figures off an ebay shop.

they are verlinden production

british red devils conversion set 2160

this is my first time using resin and have no clue about it. i do remmeber reading other modellers post about resin and something about cleaning it before painting or priminig it 1st after cleaning is best idea?

can anyone give me any help and tips towards this please

Wash the figures with warm soapy water, let it dry and then prime it. There are different opinions on the best primer. The main colors used are black, grey or white. Personally for figures I use white.

hi there pat thanks for the reply

one thing i forgot to ask was

how do you seperate the pieces of resin off the sprue blocks withing damaging them. and will any sanding down be needed? normal plastics glue be alright for resin to use on??

A razor saw will do the job but be aware of the dust.

Yes a razor saw is a must Cut just above the piece and sand down. Normal styrene cement won't work you need superglue
