Anyone have a good mix for Tamiya paints to replicate US Desert Sand? I've tried Model Master Armor Sand, but it appears a little too dark and not 'yellow' enough. I also prefer Tamiya paints for ease of cleanup.

Have you tried Model Master Acryl? Should clean up as easy as the Tamiya. Just a thought.

This is one of the many reasons I don't like Tamiya paints, very few exact matches.

Armor sand is the light color used in the MERDC scheme and is not at all close to modern desert tan. PollyScale has the correct modern tan in an acrylic (unfortunately, I've rubbed the lable down and can't read the number, but the call it US Special Tan) and ModelMaster Acryl probably has that, too.
