Yes that's right, the buckles are coming. I have found a producer and should be sending off for my first run production very soon! I have already seen a sample set and they are wonderful. I have made some very small adjustments to make them a little easier to use and less fragile. I have designed a set that consists of a total of 30 buckles. There are 10 of the ratchet style, 10 of the plastic pinch clip type and 10 of the spring type. There are also 30 hooks so that you can attache them to your models.
As soon as I have them in hand, I will post a means for you to contact me to order them. I know the wait has been long, and I am sorry. It is all coming though. A little more patience and they will be available.
If anyone has any other ideas for details for models, drop me a line and I will see if I can design something. I have already designed a radio tower like those made from angle iron. It stands about 1 foot tall and scales out to be 35+ feet tall. I am just now working on some of the antenna mounts for it. I have even thought about tackling the M1128 MGS Slat Armor, but I am not quite ready for that. I look forward to any other ideas you may have. If its doable in photo-etch metal, I am willing to give it a try.

Hi Cory,
don't blame yourself for the delay, it's just fantastic you did it. I can wait now I am sure the set is entering full production.
Thanks again for your efforts.

Congratulations, some things just take a while to sort themselves out and now you'll be ready to roll. I was holding onto your first trial pieces like they were gold so now I can actually use them and get more as well, count me in for a few sets.

Good news in deed !
and thanks for attaching Hooks and J bends so we can either use them on Large Cargo or do Pallets or crates as well !
Hope you can share your Sample via a Picture so we can see the quality ! you ended up getting from that manufacturer !
Job well done on an Item that has been missed from all AFV modelers for years...

Here is a diagram of the pieces that will be in the set. There are a total of 30 buckles, 10 of each, and 60 hooks. Again, I don't have them in hand yet, but they are coming.

HI CORY, this is just a suggestion, I would like to see modern TIE DOWNS for trucks, like 920 series, the HEMITTs and trailers. I am in favor of anything that assists average model builders to scratch build vehicles not available yet or are to obscure(much like what Miniart is doing). Thats my two cents.

Hallo, Cory,
no apology necessary! Everything that is to be good needs its time. We all are happy that you really made the ratchets. Nobody else did care about the whishes of the modelers!
I hardly can wait to get them, i.e.look very much forward to get them.
Thanks in advance!
Harald

Cory,
I really need those sets!!! I have a load of Modern Armor WIPs now and more upcoming.. those various buckles will be a Perfect Finishing Touch for Added Realism!!!
CAN YOU PLEASE START TAKING PRE-ORDERS???!!!
Paypal or some other way?
We have already seen the designs as well as the photoetch samples.
Your sets have already been given the "Approval" by our more knowledgeable forum members.
Pre-orders will also give you a better idea on the quantity you need to order from the photoetch company so you will know how much to invest, as I understand production does cost a subtantial sum of money..not forgetting packaging, etc.
Come on guys, let's speed things up and support Cory with getting these sets out and into our hands ASAP! I think the most practical way is to put our money where our mouths are!!!
AWAITING THE RESPONSE...!
