OK the kit is bigger(as compared to the Tamiya) I have no immediate use for the tractor, so lets skip all that. The frame of the trailer is remarkably close match to the Tamiya's.(size wise) It is slightly wider. OK now this trailer is the M15A! versus the Tamiya just M15. The tires are considerably smaller, but ordered the Tank Workshop Dragon Wagon wheel set to cover this. So Animal , Guntruck.....was the A1 wider than the M15? We're looking at 1/4 inch hereor less. If so, can buzz it down a bit with a moto, but thinking would be they were pulling larger tanks around then Shermans and Stuarts by then, so they would have widened it a bit to accomodate.

Blaster, I've got one too, but unfortunately no box and no instructions with it. Is it possible for you to scan the instructions sheets and email them to me? I'll be really grateful.
Ciao

Blaster,
Yes, M15A1 trailer was wider, about 1/4 inch in 1/35th scale sounds about right. Biggest visual difference is the sides of the trailer no longer have tool box doors as on Tamiya's, on A1 version they are open oval structures. The corners of the trailer are also reinforced to accomidate heavier loads. There are great photos of M15A1 here in the photo gallery. Hope this helps. I too am building an M15A1 along with an M123A1C for Vietnam era use. See my other post on M123A1C wheels.

You can use the Peerless trailer to depict the M15a1. The width is fine, and the peerless trailer has the wide ovals in them already if I'm not mistaken. You can use the tires and wheels from the tank workshop. The trailer already has the hydralic style ramps over the rear tires also. With a little work it will turn out to be a great trailer to be pulled by the M-123A1. As long as you are happy with it that is the bottom line. If I can get these little gems I would use them. Remember that these trailers saw a lot of mud and dirt. so you can hide any little flaws in the kit with mud...

Well, as soon as the tractor and wheels arrive, I'm in business. Thanks for the input. If anyone has that chapter in Shep Paine's book they could scan me (the copy in my library was stolen).
