What Tamiya colors are good for a T-34's and SU-85's WWII and was there a difference between early and late war? I know Tamiya has 3 different versions of Olive, Olive Drab, and Green? Any recommendations?
Thanks in advance

Hi,
this question has been asked several times already and the answer is normally that there is no specific kind of green. There were multiple factories, tanks had to be produced in a hurry, so giving all vehicle the same shade of green was no the most important issue
So anything goes, from grey green for a faded/dusty vehicle to NATO green or dark green for a newer cleaner vehicle, depening on the effect you want. I would not use olive drab (it's actually a brown shade).
Personally I always start with NATO green (XF-67) and add various different shades on top of that.

I must concur with "mat's" assessment and observations. I personally use the NATO green and add XF-2 Flat White to make the colour more appropriate.
Cheers,

i was looking for a soviet green the other day in model master, but couldnt find the one i needed which was Dark Green 1710, so i got Dark Green 1910. The Dark green i got is just a little bit darker than the 1710 one. and it looked very similar to the Tamiya dark green, not sure on the code.
