Hi,
Just got the ZSL-92 IFV and the box contains a sheet showing a large number of contemporary PLA vehicles. I'd have dismissed it as just being informative, if it wasn't for the fact that it shows multiple versions of some vehicles, where only one would be really required if it was just a "pictorial survey" of current PLA armor.
The sheet shows the following stuff that's already available from HobbyBoss:
ZTZ-99, ZTZ-99A, ZTZ-99B, ZSL-92, ZSL-92A, ZBD-04
It also shows one that's definitely in the works:
ZTZ-96
And it shows the following vehicles as well:
ZTZ-96A (seems reasonable this will follow the ZTZ-96), ZBL-09, ZBD-05, ZSL-92B, ZLC-2000, ZBD-2000, ZSD-89, and some vehicle whose name is given in Chinese only (second ideograph is 土 but I've I'm not looking through umpty-thousand ideographs to try to find the first one) but that looks along the lines of a typical 4x4 of the Wolf/Landrover/M1026 variety.
Anyone know if this is actually a sheet showing future planned releases? It's got a look about it that suggests it might be. I'd love to see some of this stuff kitted.
Cheers,
Al

Great - given the number of the unkitted vehicles listed on the "for 2010" list (and then some) I think it's a pretty safe bet that the remainder in the list (ZBD-05, ZBD-2000) will also see the light of day. Those are particularly interesting looking vehicles, and will allow people to have a chance to paint the blue digital camo scheme
