The Story:
Forward elements of 12 ss panzer Div recon navigate the lanes and hedgrows of Normandy, probably around the approach to Caen.

Looks Good!

Just needs a couple of figures to give it some 'life' - and possibly a bit of clear resin/varnish to suggest the remnants of a dried up stream near the tunnel (if that's what you are hoping to achieve?)

Cheers!

Looks good but I would have to agree with Gary, it needs some figures otherwise it looks like an abandon 1/2 track. Was there a fighter flying by and they all scattered? Some guys don't like to do figures but even bad one will add to an otherwise great job.

I agree, varnish near the tunnel, and some figures..
Looks nice otherwise, good job.

Something I saw on the halftrack was that the road wheels and area behind the outermost set seem to be stark, i.e. no wash, filter, etc and don't match the exposed area there. It works the opposite way around (as in shading). As for the rest of the comments, I agree. Still, fantastic start and kudos, you've gotten farther on a diorama then I have in the last 7 months.

Hi Guys,
Well thanks ever so much for the comments. I've never used varnish before, to represent a drying river, wanted to show it as a small drainage ditch, dried out in the French Summer.
I will be adding figures, but they are far from complete.
This is not a strong point of mine, hence my reluctance to do them.
Will post some pics of them later tonite.

Thanks again
Shultz
