Hello everyone!
about 2 years I build AFV in 1/72 scale and decade to go up and start to try building in 1/48. I see that there is no much models in this scale but whaterver I'm going to try.

so I builded my beloved tank from WWII Panzer III Ausf.N by TAMIYA

more information about a kit you can get here:
http://modelingmadness.com/scotts/misc/military/previews/tamiya/32543.htm

a Tank from 1942 and served at 15th Panzer Division, Deutsches Afrikakorps

so building seems like this:

after the building of almost all detals

after some chiping and oil pante wash:

Hi Richard

very nice build!! I like the chipping a lot .. wish I could do that as fine. Two things I think could be "improved".

1. Maybe you should add the mesh screens for the "air vents". IIRC Hauler sells them separately so you would not need a whole PE set ... or you could add evidence that they were there but got lost in action.

2. Esp. for DAK vehicles it might be cool to add some kind of equipment on the rear deck to make the whole thing look more busy. (I often leave these off as well so I am "guilty" as well)

all the best

Very nice Out the Box. Makes me want to do some more desert tanks (I'm almost done with an old Bandai Panzer IVD - destroyed). Love the stub gun
