MAFVA NATIONALS 2010
Those members who check the MAFVA website regularly will know about the proposal to trial the gold, silver, bronze system in the Duxford competitions this year. This means than that there can be several winners of these awards in any class, or conversely, none, if the judges do think the entries reach the required standard. This we hope is a fairer system. In a class with a large number of entries where there is a high standard, then more than 3 entries may have their work recognised. Likewise a single entry in a class will not automatically qualify for a gold. Because this new system is expected to take longer in judging, the competition entry will close half an hour earlier at 12.30pm.
