I have this one on my shelf. Just wondering if there are any problems that I should figure out before I get to them in the kit. Thanks!

Trust this is the Stug IV you are talking about, it's a knock off of the old/inaccurate/soft detailed Tamiya Stug IV. Not so good a kit.

I think the accademy figures are not very good , but the tanks are good , not like a Dragon but like a Italeri or Tamya. If you want you can do the external object by your self, there are more realistic

Thanks guys. I will start my academy stug here in a month and will let you know. I mean it looks like a nice kit. Good firm plastic, figure looks dorky, and machine gun kind of plain, but that can all be covered up with a good paint job.
Thanks again!

Chip, a few months ago somebody built the same kit. He posted in progress reports on the board, IIRC in rivet review..
IIRC I have his reports saved on my HD.. so if needed I can send them to you....

Hi
It's a copy of the old Tamiya kit.
You could make something nice, but the DML Stug kits are a lot better.
Cheers
Andy

Pretty much a copy of the 70's era Tamiya StuG. 1V kit. At the right price, a good starter kit to practice zimmerett, painting and weathering with.
