I'm trying to crack the code on how to post photos, so I thought I'd give it a go using some happy-snaps of a couple of figgies on a Staghound dio that I've been working on.
Here goes:
If this works, the first figure is a plastic ESCI with a Hornet head and hands and the arms repositioned. The shovel is ex-Tamiya.
The second figure is an Ultracast with a Hornet head, hands and repositioned arms.
The Staghound is the Bronco kit built OOTB.
Well now, time to hit "post" and see if this works!

Actually, just one more to put the dio in context. Here's one of the original photos from the Canadian National Archives that gave me the dio idea. The BW photo in the first post was an attempt to get the dio framed closely to the same perspective as the orignal photo to see how it compared.
Comments and observations are welcome.
(FYI: I didn't modify the Staghound in the dio with the Canadian storage. I was looking at the time for a "decompression" project and wanted to do something right out of the box. The Bronco kit is just great as it comes, BTW!)

Two for you, John. These are the only other ones that I have in my photo albumn at the moment.
The Staghound is a bit on the "clean" side, but as I said earlier, this was an OOTB project to decompress after a long and complicated build (a Char B1 bis). I just wanted to get something built and finished.
Right now I'm working on a Tasca Firefly Mk VC that will be badged out as a Fort Gary Horse tank along with some North Nova Scotia Highlanders during Operation Totalize. I'll try to get some WIP photos of that project up on the site in one of the other forums (probably Armour).

Thanks, Al. BTW, I've been really enjoying your Churchill III interior build log. It's coming together very nicely!
I'm tempted to follow suit, but I've had an idea for a Tunisia dio with my Churchill (when ever I get around to it!).
Also, those Resicast Brit Tank Riders you've been reviewing are pulling at me to take a tangent and see if I can kit-bash up a Ram Kangeroo. But, as I'm ever hopeful, I'm kinda waiting on the posibility that DML or Tasca will cut the molds for one before I grow too old, gray, and (more) fumble-fingered to build one.
Thanks for all your contributions here.

Mike, nice work. Be careful with the size of the pictures otherwise you will use up all your space.
