Hi, first time trying to paint the digital camo, I am happy with it, but is still a work in progress of the crew member I picked up last weekend, constructive criticism welcome.

I'm glad you are happy with the figure; digital camo is not easy to paint realisticaly in this scale... How did you do it?
For future reference, take a look at couple of features that explain painting ACU:

Thanks Maki, I first painted the base colour of light grey, next I ripped a square chunk off a sponge and used the edge to create the dark grey areas. After that I put a dark grey wash over it to get the creases and then went over it again with the sponge but with light grey paint. After that I created the contrast by giving tan body armour and finished the thing with all the detail painting. I also put some diluted black paint over some of the edges such as the bottonm of the jacket where it meets the trousers to give the impression of a shadow.
I find the sponge is best if it is a very fine one, so as not to have too many large holes in it. The kitchen sponges work rather well (and there cheap).
Next time I will take in progress shots and post them up for all to see, but I forgot to do that with this figure,Thanks again.
Keep the comments coming.lol
