With the release of MB's Scotland the brave I've decided to go ahead with a small dio depicting Lord Lovatt,Bill Millin and some associated Paras and commando's meeting on D Day.I have done some research on both the main figures but the information varies, Lord Lovatt's weapon could have been a winchester hunting rifle,an m1 carbine, a garrand or a de lisle, some say he wore a white polo sweater under his BD others say no.Bill Millin landed in a kilt and changed into BD trousers and carried no personal weapon other than SF dagger information varies as to the type of tartan worn, no cap badges were worn by the 1st special service commando's so thats what I've got up tp now, so any more help or info would be most welcome, thanks guys.
