Hi everyone guys...,
so..., after a long stop , due to the "usual little problems " ( read: girlfriend , job , lack of time...and so on ) i finally got the time to go back on the workbench and start something new.
Since, until now, i've been just dealing with tanks and vehicle i decided to seek for a new challenge dealing with figure painting and building up small vignettes...
So i took a look at the stash and i found a kit that really caught my attention:
Desperate defense - Korsun Pocket - from Dragon in 1/35 scale.
So i started the job.....the kit its in my opinion very very nice to build and the figures are very well detailed , the painting has been done with Vallejo Tamiya and Lifecolor acrylics except for the faces done with oils.
After a long time working this is the final result , so far this is my very first "serious" attempt at painting figures in this scale.
I hope you'll enjoy the pics....

Ciao
Alex.

Sorry i forgot to say that for this vignette i've used Hornet heads.....as you many of you has already noticed.....
The Dragon ones are very nice indeed but honestly not good looking as the Hornet ones....obviously this is my point of view....

For the first time doing figures they look great. Nice little vignette you got there.

Cool figures! I wish mine "Desperate Defense" figures would turned out as yours when I built them last year! The camo on the guy firing the Pssh looks really good! I really like them!
Thanks for sharing!
Cheers

Hey...thanks everyone guys....

Im pretty satisfied too .... especially concearning the building of the base , since i've never tried something like that before ( i just builded a base for a Stug some time ago...but never worked on something so small ) . But to be honest the more i watch my figures the more i find little details that i could improve in a next job....i think this could be called " experience" right..? Actually im focusing on a 1/16 figure from Tamiya ( panzer commander ) i want to test my painting skills on this scale too. If ur interested ill post some simple pics to show the work progress , obviously comments are as usual very very welcome ....

Ok thanks again and happy modelling everyone..!!!

Alex
