Many of you may have seen this but I just stumbled across this and found it to be an excellent reference for modeling the Chechnyan conflict. It provides you with raw footage of the conflict and offers the viewer a small chance to see the conflict from the eyes of the Russian troops. Also includes great close ups of damaged and knocked out T-72s with an explanation of how things happened.

Still watching. It's amazing Sean. on part 1 and 2 the BMP's looked like bmp-1's ( thicker barrels ) but had the same Anti-Tank missle as a BMP-2. I thought that was curious. Thanks for sharing.

Those could be BMP-1P's. A BMP-1 with Konkurs missile.

When the missile launcher isn't fitted, the vehicle can be recognized by the stub on the turret roof.
