I'd like to see any evidence that Tiger 2 had a bin with flared sides (wider towards the rear) and side supports.
I don't recall ever seeing such a thing.

In any case, Tiger 2 had an escape hatch. It can't be built from the "Initial" kits.

I've now checked some photos, and I believe the correct bin for Initial Tiger "2" is the straight-sided bin used by s.Pz.Abt. 501. Ironically, Voyager already have this bin in their product line!
Can anyone say where they got this design of a flared bin with side supports? Any photos that I don't know about?

OK, having done the research, I will answer the question;

The upgrade set PEA054 is a fantasy. No such turret bin is known to have existed on any Tiger (a wide bin with flared sides and side supports).

This upgrade set is apparently based a drawing in the Russian magazine "Frontline Illustrations". Unfortunately that drawing was speculative.

The evidence shows that Tiger '2' carried a different bin, and also it had an escape hatch, unlike the example kit in Voyager's photos. Tiger '2' cannot be built from Dragon kit 6600 even if a correct bin is purchased.
