Hi folks,

A bit more progress. I added the markings for a RASC General Service Truck of 2 Corps. Not sure about the roundal though.

It's a very detail kit, just the instructions are a pain and the number parts on the plugs are hard to read being in cream coloured resin.

Still the door handles, mirrors (1)? and window screen to add. I need to do more work on the repair to get a good fit with the screen.

Cheers

Al

Very nice build Alan, and well done for getting it back out and finishing it off! After all that you got the last bits done quite quickly. Seems like quite a challenging kit, but also looks nice quality.

Hi Paul, 1174, Mathew and Steph,

Thanks for looking in guys and the comments.

Hi Matthew, you're right it is a very nicely detailed kit, if Plus Models did a better (clearer) set of instructions it would be a terrific kit. There is excellent detail in the parts but both the part numbers on the plugs and small instructions make it a chore to easily identify some of the parts.

Snapping the cab support didn't help my motivation to get it done, but the remainder went together fairly well.

That said PM do have an excellent looking range of British trucks.

Cheers

Al

nice work on that - qq from me - whats the base you are displaying it on? I am after a generic base I can use for various kits (something that can do Russia, France, Belgium etc) so generic Northern Europe... that one looks like it could fit the bill

Hi Robert,

Thanks. I have two generic bases I use which I got from SB Models their SB Scotia Range.
