Russel, Nice build..
like an interior green color, similar to that of inside an M113 or those grenades on US armor.

Thanks, Nick. I saw a lot of that color in northern Israel, plus lots of the pics in Michael Mass' book show the same color dirt and mud.

It was a great trip, hard to leave actually.
I did manage to lose most of the pics I got, unfortunately. Some were neat, like an M151 with a couple of reservists lounging in it at Masada, a platoon of Merks (mark unknown) on patrol, lots of monument tanks, wheeled transport, and a parking lot just chock full of half-tracks. I did find my shot of a Magach 6B-Gal on a transporter, but I took it out of a moving bus, not a full shot.

A shame you lost those pics.
I love the agressive look of the Magach 6B, I built 4 of them and have another 6 excluding GALs I'd hope to build by next year. IDF armor has a certain appeal to them..they are just addictive!

Agreed!
I've got a couple built from the Acad kits that I'm about to dis-assemble for parts to do an accurate early 6B, and am really hoping Academy will follow through on the rumored 6B-Gal Batash. That would be neat.

Where did you hear about the rumored Batash? That would be great I could certainly get a load...

It was on this website, at least a year ago, IIRC.
