Just wondering if any manufacturer does or has done a kit of the Matilda I (A11) in 1/35, or is it one of those "most wished for's".
It has to be one of the ugliest tanks ever and really packed a punch with that Vickers. I want one, or three.

On the topic of rare tanks, why hasn't someone re-done the Soviet T-35 (another sexy/ugly beast)? I love my panzers but how many PzIV's are on the market and both of the Matilda and T-35 are available in museums for the manufactures to study.

Thanks Neil, it looks a absolute beauty. A little pricey at $AU90(as resin nearly always is), so I might have to limit myself to one rather than three.
Still I'm sure it will build up better than ICM's T-35 that, as far as I can tell from surfing the web,is antiquated, usually warped and price-inflated due to being in short supply/high demand. Bronco, Dragon, AFV Club are you listening?

Commander's Series Models also did one, but it's out of production. I did the master for it.

The Accurate one is the early version and mine was of the later batch. The Commander's kit can be a bit of a b*tch to build as some of the white metal running gear can be bent and, I must say, my rear drive sprocket is too big. The Etched brass set, though, is quite nice and results in a more scale set of rear fenders than one of the Accurate kits I saw built up.

Both will result in unique models on your shelf, to be sure.
