Dear all,
I have a vintage tamiya 1/25 SU-100. It seems to me that it is a post WWII SU-100 (base on my gut feel), which is modelled after the bovington captured Egyptian SU-100...
a) Whats the diff bet WWII and post war SU-100
b) Can this 1/25 tamiya kit be modelled for russian WWII SU-100
c) Are the decals provided for WWII or postwar, are these decals suitable for this kit?

The kit is based on a post war Czech version of the SU-100. Remove the storage box on the right front for sure. Not sure about any other details as I do not have the kit.
I am sure it can be back dated as the wheels are WWII.
Decals...probably, but you could even hand paint numbers and ID marks without much issue.
Be aware that this kit will be a bit of a dog. The details are very poor and this kit will require much TLC to make it more than the toy it was intended to be when it was tooled up.
