[quote]After looking at Jeff's (sgtreef)1/6 jeep build I had to blow the dust off this monster.
the exhaust was made from a cardboard tube with placticard end caps and brass tube and coated with Mr surfacer
I love PE in 1/6 working tool clamps and rifle holders
the interior had no controls or cables etc, these have been added with solder, plastic card and guitar strings
The gearbox and final drive completed,
Thanks for looking
Andy

Looking good Andy.
Looking real good indeed.
Yep but one thing PE in this scale only for German stuff, well a few things for some tanks but nothing in the way of anything else.
Either German or nothing.
Will keep an eye on this one.
Just taken back by the job so far.
Where the heck did you get the shift sequence numbers on the shifter from that looks great.
Putting up pics of where I stand.

Thanks Andy yep all German.
Do they not know that Germany was not the only country involved in WW2.
I guess not.
Looking good.
Agree with John good to see more 1/6 scale builds.
With a stash that size will be seeing a lot more work.
I was thinking of the Pak gun myself a decent price at $78.00 about the same as a Tasca Sherman. ,but a tad larger.
More paint indeed.
Wonder if dragon ever thought of making their own Paint?
Now bring on that 88 MM this would be killer besides that Cal scale 50 pound one.

Andy, very impressive. I've wanted this kit for some time now. Those Mausers are beautiful. Did they come with the kit? How did you finish them? Those stocks look like real wood. Great job so far.

Hi Cary
thanks for your comments, the Mausers dont come with the kit sadly.
The pic shows from the top, standard Dragon Lee Enfield, the next two have had the stocks repainted by lightly sanding with a corse emery/wet and dry paper and a few nicks, dings and dents added with a scaple then given a wash of burnt umber oil paint which was wiped off after a couple of hours.
The Mausers are stock at the moment and will have the oil paint treatment soon!
HTH
