The scene I am working on has US MP's in Northwest Europe checking papers of passing soldiers. But I'm not sure what actual papers soldiers carried or what size and shape they were. Any way to find this out?

Here's an ID card I found by googling:

Size-wise I'm guessingh it would fit in a wallet.
They'd probably also want to see orders, which might be on standard typing paper or torn fractions thereof.
Hope this helps!

Showin' your age! (Me, I'm denying I ever watched those game shows for all those years... It's my story, and I'm sticking to it!)
Of course,, I was shocked to see his real name wasn't Raburn...

I don't have to admit to anything, Game Show Network, an American basic cable channel replays the old Match Games for an hour or more every day. What's amazing is that some of the stuff is still funny 35 years later.
