It seems Trumpeter are letting more and more mistakes in as they RUSH more kits out. Yes the new kits are nice but they are letting their quality slip. I for one would rather have a slower release of hits and higher quality thanks.

It might be true talking about LAV derivatives, since they did not seem to modifiy their initial "base" kit, and only add or change the parts required to build other versions.
But it comes an unaccurate statement if you start talking about their latest russian/former USSR stuff, which is improving reléase after reléase.
Just take a look to their T-72/90, BTR-60/70/80, t-64 and T-80 kits, just to name some.
They have faults, of course, but are all awsome kits! And you cannot say that they are not rushing them...

I expect to receive mine next week
I'm no expert about ASLAV's, but was waiting for this release for a long time!
I never -never- take kits' manufacturer's painting guides as a reference...

At last the ASLAV is in the market in Japan!

But with a first quick view in the instructions, i saw the first mistake at the painting instructions!

Aussie's camo has three colors:tan, light green and black! Trumpeter's instructions mention two green colors (one dark green and one light green) and a tan color!

I'm in for 2 at least; one converted to a Canadian Bison Ambulance, and the other mated to a 6x6 Hull for a Javelin Air Defence SEV.

Cook The Man Some Eggs!! Hahhaha! Sam, is that for real?
What were the other vehicles in the section named? Keep your mouth shut and your legs open; This is as cleaned up as I get you bastard; Too much weights - not enough speedwork;
Yes mate, quite legit!

I think the section commanders vehicle was "woman you look awful, go clean yourself up"

It's amazing what you guys bring on the market. For us modern armour modellers like me is it a great time. We can buy weekly a new kit....

Nice work Gaoyue. I'll buy one.
I like the way you have all the MEAO style communications gear but also have the full array of brush guards for lights, smoke dischargers and props so that people can still build a version of the vehicle back home on training in Australia.
One suggestion please cast the water jerry cans (4 x on either side of the upper rear hull) separately so that modelers can decide how to stow them.
Cheers

GAOYUE!!!
You are making modern armour modellers like me and im sure many others very very happy with some of your latest releases, LAV lll, ASLAV, STRYKER, CHALLENGER. Thank you, thank you, thank you

. I shall be at War and Peace this year hunting them down.
One suggestion from a pocket money modeller like myself though, any plans for a Bufallo, Cougar or Mastiff in plastic? Im sure im not the only one who will never be able to afford the excellent but high priced resin versions available at the moment.
Keep up the good work.

I just enlarged the pic and on the front screen it says "HAWKEI".. Is this British made?
Hisham
The hawkei is only in prototype phase at the moment and has been shortlisted as a possible prospect for Land121. So it won't be rumbling around Iraq of the Ghan for a few years yet. Land121 is also looking at new medium/heavy tpt vehicles for the ADF and we might just see some new variants of the Bushmaster appearing soon.

The Hawkei is built by Thales Australia. It's Thales's contender for the Australian Department of Defence's LAND 121 Phase 4 program to replace Army Landrovers.
