Nick,
I've got photos of those in my Abrams album, which is not available to me at the moment. I can tell you that there's very little to see, and that I used HO scale railroad data decals to replicate them. If no one else gets you a close up in the next day or two, I'll email you what I have.
As for the stencils, Verlinden makes a set that are very close. Is that the exact marking you need? If so, I have a decal set I can send you that has it, provided it's the correct size. What I have is 1.5mm in height.

HI Rob,
Let's see what happens the next couple days..If not I'll sure appreciate your email.
Yes USMC and numbers stencils/markings I posted are exactly the fonts I need...You don't have to send me the Verlinden decals..But I can sure do with a scan as the height I need is different than 1.5mm.
THANKS!

Not sure about the label on the hatch, never saw one on our tanks back in the day. The one on the roadwheel will probably have the name of the part, stock number, and a bar code...like a warehouse inventory tag.

Thanks for the info Ronin!
Gijs, got your mail, thanks! ... However the fonts are different from the ones I need exact.. The "spaces"(negative blanks?) that separate the individual numbers and alphabets are thin.. as compared to the ones I need which are thicker and at angles...
If you have these ..please send!

Nick, the white sticker in the Loaders hatch is from the Logistics Base or Depot that rebuilt the hawg telling the end user who exactly did the quality work. As the other gent stated the white label on the new spare roadwheel is the sticker with the NSN, CAGE, Part Number and Maunufacturer Information, Nomenclature ect, ect. Outta here, Mike sends . . .

Provided the tag format for parts is uniform, the label on the road wheel should look something like this:
IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII (barcode)
2530-01-201-4816 (NSN #)
CAGE 19207 P/N 12324548 (Cage & Part #'s)
Wheel, Solid Rubber (description)
1 EA XX/XX (how many and date)
AAAAXX-XX-X-XXXX (4 letters + #'s)
I will see if I can track down my Abrams manuals this weekend, and see if the numbers are in there somewhere.
EDITED: Found the manuals, and filled in what #'s I could find. Hope this helps

Hey Nick,
I think the type of fonds you want is included in the USMC M1A1 Sheet Part 3 by Echelon.
Cheers Alex

Here's an example of Military Shipping Label :
You can find more examples if you do a Google image search for "MIL-STD-129P"
More info : Military Standard 129P, Standard Practice - Military Marking for Shipment and Storage

Plug in the numbers from what I posted, and you should have a good representation of a shipping label for a roadwheel.
Not being a regular poster here (but doing alot of lurking), there is one thing I got to ask based on my observations....
Frenchy, is there anything you DON'T have images of? LOL

Alex,
I don't have those decals, but I think I saw those fonts and they are different. Can you confirm?
Ronin, Henri, Mike
Thanks for the info! That will settle the spare wheel labels.
I will post the decal attempt in my Abrams WIP.
And yes Henri is a walking, talking armor encyclopedia.
Anyone else...? I could still use more help with photos of the loader's hatch label and FONTs..

I found that doing a web search for "Phantom stencil font" returned a free site that has just what I was looking for. Might be something for your consideration.
