Would like to share with you my latest build - Trumpeter's T-62 Model 1962. Painted with Tamiya, details with Model Master Acryl - still adjusting to doing oil washes with Grumbacher's Gamsol (it's quite different from Turpenoid that I'm more used to). Dusting is done with Tamiya's buff and Mig Pigments.
I haven't attempted to correct the loader's hatch, but I did enjoy building this model and highly recommend it.

Loks great Ivan ! some drybrushing might help soften the edges of the washes.

Great Ivan! Did you use any aftermarket bits and pieces or was it OOTB?

Greta job Ivan, the weathering is fantastic and very convincing! I really have to get myself a T-62 someday!

Weathering is really neat and convincing. But I don't like the texture of the turret, it is quite rough (last pic). Although the russian tanks were rough, but it is a bit overdone I think. Did you do something about the excisting texture from the turret by adding putty or something else? Or is it just the weathering/pictures?
but it's a nice model to look at. Good job!

Thanks for the comments/feedback:
The build is straight out of the box, without any addons or contemplating changes fixes... I'm currently just learning building kits and experimenting with various weathering techniques - I'm getting over a bunch of experiments where I tried to build $100-120 kit/aftermarket combinations, only to ruin them on final stages.
More aftermarket parts to come out in future builds - I might even scratchbuild once I get comfortable enough (certainly a lot of inspiration on this site)

Ivan, your '62 is rockin ! I noticed you added the co-axial machine gun on the right side of the main gun. I checked some reference pictures and it seems you have caught a detail that seems to be over looked on other builds. good eye.
