Nice, which kit is it? Italeri or Tamiya?

I'll give two thumbs up, one for the kit and one for the dio groundwork. I did notice the observer is a tad bit pop-eyed... did he just spot an 88 drawing a bead on him?

Very nice indeed. Just a couple of suggestions. First, tone down the decals a little bit. Looking at contemporary photos, the crews tended to 'blend in' the national marrkings as much as possible in the field. Your weathering is nicely understated. Many people tend to vary between 'Motor-show finish' and a vehicle that was driven through every swamp in the theater of operations. Your base-work is excellent. again nicely executed and I particularly like the tree. The vehicle tyres need to be a bit more embedded into the terrain although considering the light weight of the vehicle that is only really nit-picking on my part. I would personally do a bit more work on the weathering of the tires and think about the paint you use for the tire color. At least they aren't black, but it could be useful to think about where the wear and tear would appear on the rubber. Remember as well the inner rims would pick up a lot of dust and mud and create there own shades... Overall I like it a lot. Looking forward to seeing more of your work......Jim

Good job! I like the model. Realistic looking groundwork, too. The eyes do look a bit popeyed, and we've all been there in doing figures! :-) Nicely done weathering. Like Jimbrae, I'd suggest a bit more dust on the tires given the dirt on the rest of the vehicle. The only weak point is the tie down rope on the rear deck. It's defying gravity! I'm guessing you used real thread for this and the soluton is simple...take some white glue, Elmer's or something similar and brush a little on the thread one section at a time. As it starts to cure, press it down. It will take some natural draping and gravity will once again be victorious.

Agreed - very nice. Well composed. The ground work is nice. Overall you did a great job.
One thing I noticed was the packs on the turret. I would add straps to the bags and wrap them over a handle or over the top to a connection point or add on a 'field added/welded hanger' They appear to be defying gravity.
Its a really minor thing that adds that extra touch.

I agree with all. I think the composition is great, very interesting. I also think the ground cover and foliage is very well done. I personally would probably have mudded it up more but I like mud. I think the only thing that stands out to me as wrong are the packs on the side. I'm not sure about the color for one thing, and the way they are hanging in mid air like that.
Overall though VERY good model.
