Tiger periscope colour?

Hi guys,

Were the periscopes in the Mid & late Tiger l the same colour as the interior or were they another colour?

Any help always gratfully accepted.

As far as I know, all periscope blocks in german afv's were painted black.

I have seen a number of the real items that survived the war, and they were all black.. with a slightly glossy finish.
