Some put a dab of glue on one of the two pins on each side.

I have had no luck with the technique specified on the back of the box the tracks come in also where it specifies to leave the connectors on the sprue and line them up with the pads, perhaps it is poor technique on my part.
There is an ever so slight bit of mold joint line running the edge of the links, once I ran a bit of 400 grit paper over the pins circumference the connectors slid on easier.

For end connectors that fall off too easily, some builders gently crimp the pins at their base with a pair of fine pliers, so there is a little resistance when the connector is slid into place. Others put a dab of wood glue on the pin to create a bit of friction (it doesn't actually bond plastic). Long term, once they are installed, it's probably best to apply some thin liquid cement to the entire track run so it remains solidly in place.

For all my AFV Club tracks I put a very small dab of Microscale Liqui-tape on the pins and where the teeth go (if applicable). When dry, it remains soft and sticky, the parts stay together and still remain pliable so you can form them around the running gear. Works great for their Sherman tracks.
