Does anyone know what unit this symbol is for, looks to be either a Dog Head or Wolf Head.

It sort of resembles StuG Abteilung 261 but faces the wrong way

Hi Dean
Interesting question - but from what I can make out, it looks like the troopers are from a ss-unit. It looks like deathheads on their caps, and one of them seems to have an eagle on his left sleeve (middle). I don't know if this helps very much, but might narrow the search area a bit.
Good luck

Hi Jacob,
I think you're right; it seams that the soldiers on the pic were Waffen-SS members.
And that leads me to the 30. Waffen-Grenadier-Division of the Waffen-SS.
The collar patches of this unit were white wolfsheads instead of the runes! May be....

Yeah I considered 30. Gren. but I couldn't find anything that showed them using the white wolf's head on vehicles. But I'm still looking.
