Interesting.... I was just looking at this kit on the AA site a few days ago. Despite this seeming like a great kit, I'm really put off by the fact that the main gun isn't provided with the kit, requiring the modeller to now not only purchase a T34, but also the ICM gun kit. A question I have to ask myself is: would the costs of AA including the gun really exceed that of the ICM kit (albeit only $10-20 if you can find the kit)?

I'd like to know where I can get an old Dragon T-34/85, especially a late version? I've asked at several stores, and they all tell me it's out of production and extremely difficult to get. Maybe I didn't ask the right store!

First of all, Thanks for changing the grammar, and ofcaurse for putting this online.

@Rudi, Accurate Armour should include the BS-3 gun into there kit. It wouldn't exceed the costs. It would barely affect the price. Maybe just a few pound (or in euro's) more. It is definitely a very nice subject and if you can get the ICM kit. I would definitely go for this kit. Just because it is such a nice subject.

@ Hisham, There are many nice Dragon kits available.

Such as:

6066 - T-34/85 Mod. 1944E
6203 - T-34/85 UTZ Mod. 1944
6266 - T-34/85 with Bedspring Armor
6319 - T-34/85 Mod.1944

I'll use the last one as donor. Although I think some early types will do the same. But I'm not sure if the lower hull will be the same as late versions. I think the better LHS who's dealing with dragon, can get at least one of this kit. Or some online store?

Fantastic News!! I built this kit when it first came out and it is really nice. It even includes a nice interior. I had alot of warped parts and some mold shifted parts but everything went together nicely. You could do it w/o the NVA T34 kit as there was some variation in roadwheels like the T34-122.

You can look for the Orange box CyberHobby versions too (there's one 1960s rebuilt with starfish roadwheels and one 1944 model with spider wheels).

As for the gun, better use the new Trumpeter one instead, but it's more expensive.
