I'm working on an M7 priest made by Italeri and have found that the tracks that it comes with are really cheap looking. I was figuring that I could replace them with an after market set of tracks made for a M4 Sherman, since it is basically the same platform. Does anybody know what the best set of replacement tracks would be and how I could go about getting some?

Best? Most likely Fruil (see ad above). Their Sherman tracks run just under $30. Most aftermarket track companies make Sherman tank tracks in one style or another. I know Armour Track Models, AFV Club, DML, RHPS all do either single link working, non-working, or vinyl tracks.

Hi Guys,
While Friul makes Sherman tracks they are a pain to build. I'd highly recommend RHPS track. First, they cost about US$20 ($10 less than Friuli's) and they go together like the originals: two end connectors and track block. I paint them before assembly and have had no trouble with assembly. HTH.
Regards,
Georg

Well there are many options There is Fruil but they take a bunch of work to make (Drilling) then there is Modelkasten but I find them over priced for what you get? RHPS ones are nice and the best to work with but still kind of pricey? Then there are the AFV Club ones that I think offer the best balance between price and ease of assembly. But all are good looking when done right. Just depends how much work or money you want to put into your project?
Just My 2 Cents?
