THIS IS A 1/72nd TRUMPETER KIT, WITH SOME CONVERSION WORK. I CUT OFF THE SOLID PLASTIC LADDERS, AND REPLACED THEM WITH 1/16"th BAR. I WANTED THIS KIT TO REALLY LOOK SPENT, MORE GUNK THAN PAINT. MY GOAL WAS TO MAKE SHOTS OF THIS KIT REALLY LOOK 1/35th.

Hi Eijah
I recently finished one of these, like you, I replaced the rungs up the turret sides with wire, it really improves the appearance of the model.
and you achieved your objective, the tank looks really worn alright, the bare metal and rust look real nice work
cheers

Utterly fabulous and I think that you achieved your goal as it gives the impression of a much larger scale. However, the crew should be disciplined for letting it get to the state that it is in.
