Hello
I love the mud effect on the dozer blade
Quick question though; What did you use for the soil/dirt in your diorama? It looks great. Overall, a superb effort on the small diorama.

Hi Alexander !
thank you for kind words. The landscaping is donw with clay. The soil/ dirt is railway modellers fine turf from wooodland scenics. It is such ie material it makes a nice scale sand/dirt in 48th scale. Everything was painted on the groudwork using buff/earth/desert sand tamiya colours. the final touch up a few pigments.

Very nice functional dio. Thanks for explaining the use of the woodland scenics - I'll have to try some of that.

Your welcome Greg ! thanks for commenting on my post. I hope it is of use to you. Just use white glue diluted with water to hold down the woodlands scenic scatter, then after it is dry when you paint it - it holds it firmer to the base.

Really nice. I just picked this kit for our clubs 1/48 scale armor group build that kicks off in Jan.11. Very well done.

Nice looking dio. It just kinda blends itself all together. Now if it ever comes out in 1/35th...
