Hello everyone!
I hope you remember this one...
It's the Italeri 1/72 scale ISU 152 with figures from Milicast and Presier.
Well, it's finished now and it will be featured in the October issue of Military Modelcraft International.
I must thank all of you who gave me valuable input during the build
I hope you like it!
Cheers
Sven-Åke

Sven this is fantastic! It's such a characterful scene, and quite astonishing considering that its in braille scale! Congratulations on a fine piece!

Sven-Åke,
As usual, very nice!
Especially considering you originally meant to build just the ISU 152. Quite the little vignette. I believe I will be getting a future issue of MMI!
Keep them coming!

This one made me laugh, I love how the Soviets are totally oblivious that the outhouse is occupied. Nice work!

Thank You Very Much Jon!!!
It's sometimes quite hard to create scenes the way I want
in this scale since theres not always a figure with the
correct pose or accessories that will fit in so it often
requires a lot of figure converting and scratchbuilding to replicate the scene I have in my head.
Glad you like my efforts
Cheers

Thanks Kirk!!!
I feel that there's too few small scale builds in the magazines today
but Military Modelcraft International really shows interest in the subject
and as far as I know they are the only magazine who regulaly feature a small
scale build in every issue so it is indeed an honour to be a part of this
Cheers and thanks for your comment!!!

Well that's the power of the forums for you right there
With the help of others I could filter my thoughts and be
steered in the right direction and that made me end up with
this little diorama.
So glad you like it!!!

Thanks Michael!!!
I think being slightly different really pays off when doing
dioramas. Interaction between figures and humor are the two
most important elements when I create a diorama...
Cheers!!!

Hi Sven-Åke,
The more I see of this little gem the more I admire your skill, the newspaper is a neat addition (we all have done the crossword whilst on the 'throne'). Superb stuff, you deserve every plaudit you get for this one.
All the best,
Paul

Thanks a million Paul!!!
I am glad you like it and I'm equally glad that I managed
to finish it before our little trip.
The newspaper was a pretty good idea which was given to
me by a fellow modeller on another forum and it really
adds a lot to the whole scene. My first intentions were
to try and print the newspaper but I couldn't find any
good enough paper that was thin enough that would also
print well so I used tissue papper (correct term?) and
painted the "/news". Not terribly pleased with it but it
works well from a normal viewingdistance...
Thanks again for all the support!!!
Cheers!!!
Sven-Åke
