hi there guys ive reserved trumpeters german ksk kommandos 1/35 for end of month payday so my question is really is there any easy way to do the german camo? its like dot colours or something and i thought id give it a try!
plus what colours should i use? i use tamiya mainly and abit of revell acrylics and vallejo

It's the "digital" pattern isn't it? I've tried to do the Canadian pattern which is similiar I think several times. Up close you can really see the different dots, but from a distance it blends [which is the idea obviously] so I guess you have to decide the effect you're after, you can always make them really dirty.
The way I went with the Canadian one was to isolate the colours, there are a couple of shades of green that make up the majority and then a little brown and black which I tried to dot on - in the ratio of 40% + 40% + 10% + 10%. I think it looks good but I don't know how accurate, it looks close.
Maybe a big piece of scrap plastic card and just practice and practice and try not to drive yourself crackers.

i had alook inside the kit the and there is a hole decal sheet for the troops but i find thats cheating and would prefer to try and paint them as it give more satisfaction really.
can anyone suggest what colours i need?
otherwise i could just go with this plain simple colour scheme :S

I think the decal sheet will drive you crazy as you fiddle and then shout in frustration, I'm sure someone will know the colours.
