Another great subject Miloslav, I just love your gun trucks. I hope someday I’m able to get one or two for myself. Are the decals water slide or dry transfer…and what are you planning for the next gun truck project.

Happy Modeling,
Joe

Hey Miloslav the weathering looks Perfect, right amount and not to read. I hate when some modelers go way over board with weathering, it looks out of scale.

So what’s the next guntruck project in the works.

Great Job!

Pascal,
I understand but this vehicle isn't easy.
First version name is Ace of Spades and this renamed to Satans Li'l Angel
All Photos from Guntruck sites only for discussion

the same front armor plate as Ace but different Angel pics.

Renamed to Proud American. Now w/winch

Again renamed to Ace of Spades, also w/winch.

Where is truth? If we don't have walk around, we don't have true statement.
I make of this set according replica Satans Li'l Angel.

Miloslav,
Great build and i love your weathering I wish mine was 1/10th as good as yours!
Can I ask you, all the spare tyres in the back and the different ones at the front of the truck, do you sell these on their own?
Cheers

Your history of these trucks is just a little off---Ace was with the 523rd and went off the road and dropped about 300 feet--Angel was sent up north to replace it and destroyed killing Richard Frazure and wounding Chester Iseral, two of the surviving crew were givin a choice to rebuild the truck or not--they did--The truck with no name is what they built from the box of Angel, call it Proud American, 22 days later it was hit and the driver Robert Thorne (one of the surviving two) was killed a LT. lost his arm and everyone else wounded, it was then that the box was again rebuilt and named Ace of Spades after the first one that was lost----Been there and did that--wrote a little about it at http://www.steelsoldiers.com/gun-trucks/31357-lam-son-719-living-transporting.html you won't see the photos of the men and trucks of operation Lam Son 719 unless you join but you should be able to read it----If you or anyone have any questions about VietNam gun trucks just shoot me an email [email protected] ----enjoy----- Driver---PS--If you don't want to read the whole thing try page 5 post 44

Oh don't be sorry my friend--what you and others here are doing is keeping history alive and in front of others which I personally feel you all should be comended for, I just like to keep things stright where I can-----your truck looks great and your right about how James has it in the book, we spoke hours on the phone about it but it had already been sent to be printed---again Thanks too you and everyone else that put so much time and effort into these models-----------again if I can be of any service just shoot me an email and I'll do what I can, I may even know some crew members------Larry Fiandt (Driver)
