Im surprised I havent heard much of this new release on here, certainly an expected move, and a very welcome one. I like the addition of the winter tracks, but wish they had given both options.

Much as I love StuGs I didn't get all whoop whoop over this one ( I'll still buy at least one ) simply because I was hoping for a move in the other direction and a mid 1944 StuG III. G. with zimmerit and rundumfeurer.

I also would have prefered both tracks but I guess after the release of the Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. N with the winterketten this was to be expected. I still like it and I have plenty of spare tracks so not a real biggy. Maybe it means the'll rework all the early StuGs as well.

Now this one does catch my attention. It used to be that the ONLY way to get styrene winterketten tracks was to use the Imperial Series F/8 kit...now they have a totally new tool kit of the F/8 with the Winterketten...which may be enough to get me to pick this one up vs. wrestling with the older kit. I too hope it's a sign that the earlier StuG versions may get some attention as well eventually.
