finally i started the base for my newly done m26 pershing.
I got 3 pictures for you guys
i am thinking of a pershing lost its way to supply station on a country road
it stopped at a fork trying to figure out its way
little hill on the both sides of the road and at the opposite end there is a dry(or not) river bed.
any ideas ??

Nice start - I like the river/creek idea - go with it.
I would (if you have the figures) put the TC and another crew member on the road to the left of the tank (tanks left) in the cross road looking down the road away from the tank. This will create the sense of 'lost' and it will give you a triangle of interest points (tank, crew, creek).
Two things I'm thinking about with this layout. The celluclay layer will take up a good portion (thickness). Plan ahead as far as how thick it will be and how it will encroach on the road and the river bed. You may end up with less 'space' on those two items than you realize.
There is a lot of space to fill in the 'back' of the diorama. You may be able to get away with removing about 2" of 'filler' space along the back edge of the dio. This is totally up to you, you may have plans for it. I'm always concerned with final display dimensions because of shelf space.

I'm with Scott on cropping the base a little bit. The angles look good to maintain a good visual presentation, but it seems a bit large for one tank. Then again, that might play into the feeling of being lost. :-)

Very very nice man i think its pretty cool u have also given me an idea im going to put my m26 on a similar base. One question is it a Korean or germany 1945 dio Maby u could have a tanker up in them thar hills

Good idea for a dio, if the river isn' t dry you can put a boat(civilian or german or destroyed) or a soldier dead body .It's only a idea
